Meghann is passionate about helping postpartum women get back to themselves and living their best life after pregnancy. She understands that women are often given little education about how to best recover after childbirth. She also understands that when women do not have the resources to fully recover, dysfunction and pain can settle in, along with negative emotions about the body.
After sustaining pelvic floor damage during her first delivery, Meghann was given the "it's part of childbearing" explanation. Following her second pregnancy and delivery, it became apparent that her body had not fully healed the first time around. Through the years she developed subsequent pelvic floor dysfunction. She began on a journey to heal herself mind, body and spirit, all the while growing a passion for helping women with shared experiences. Meghann also has a history of adverse childhood experiences, which has helped her grow a passion for serving moms who look to break the cycle of generational trauma for future generations.
Meghann received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2009. She has practiced physical therapy for over 10 years. She is currently pursuing a Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy and has completed the Level 1 and Level 2 pelvic health trainings through the American Physical Therapy Association thus far. She received her 200-hour mindful yoga teacher training from Healthy Body Peaceful Soul. She is also a certified Level 1 and 2 Reiki practitioner.
